15 Questions With Model Daisy Davies

Daisy Davies, a 20 year old contestant from Australia's Next Top Model Season 10, has been SO KIND and generous enough to let us get a bit of an insight into her life. Kakua: What inspired you to become a model? Daisy: I think it was originally how i grew up surrounded by fashion but what really tipped me over the age was how models are becoming huge influencers for so much more then just clothes! I realised I could really use this to reach out to people and spread love and have a great time doing what I love (travelling, dressing up meeting talented humans !)

Kakua: What made you try out for AusNTM? Daisy: Well it's cheesy but Mum dared me that I couldn't do it and I like to prove people wrong (who doesn't!) So it all started with a bet and here I am! How's that for a movie plot?

Kakua: If you could not model what would you do? Daisy: I would definitely act, if you've watched the show in the first episode I say "I want to be a model slash actress" it was met with some criticism and raised eyebrows, but who wouldn't want to join the ranks of the models that cross over and do both! I.e Charlise Theron and Cara Delevigne being just two to name, even our very own Megan Gale was in Mad Max.

Kakua: Who is your biggest inspiration? Daisy: Probably Gigi Hadid. She kills it and seems really cool and down to earth. If i can't follow in her foot steps then I'd love to walk beside her!

Kakua: Have you enjoyed AusNTM? Daisy: Thoroughly. It was one of the hardest , roller coaster experiences i've ever had but It will all pay off. It's just the first step on the ladder to success! I really tried to soak up everything they taught me like a big sponge so I can hit the industry with a bang *cue fire works*.

Kakua: What is the best present you have ever received? Daisy: My puppy! He is a Maltese Terrier/Miniature Poodle and has the best personality. I love him so much and got him on my 7th birthday.

Kakua: Where in the world you want to visit the most? Daisy: Well if i can't say everywhere 10 times over, then i'll have to say Bora Bora, google it. I found heaven.

Kakua: What do you look for in a person? Daisy: sense of adventure! I want someone who is willing to travel the world with me! And it might so happen i've found that someone!

Kakua: 3 tips for girls that want to model? Daisy:

-Believe in yourself.

-Listen to direction but know to separate helpful criticism from hate. -The fashion industry is always changing, you might be told you're too short but then again.. so was Kate Moss.

Kakua: What do you do when you want to relax? Daisy: I go surfing or watch movies on Netflix and light a scented candle just so i can be real zen.

Kakua: What do you do for fun? Daisy: Go to the beach, hang with the girls, go out for meals or to events the list goes on and

on.

Kakua: Who is your favourite artist? (music wise) Daisy: That is so tough because I like pretty much everything out there - Maybe Beyoncé? Maybe Taylor Swift ? Sorry kanyé.

Kakua: Favourite place you have visited? Daisy: Aspen Colorado! My family and I used you go skiing there over at Christmas when I was a kid. Oh if i could go back in time.

Kakua: Who would you consider your closest friend in the top model house? Daisy: Belinda for sure! But I love all the girls. I was close to Jordan but she was gone so soon!

Kakua: 3 random facts about you. Daisy:

1. I can do accents (i like to think my irish one is my best) 2. I am a dog person to a T

3. My favourite sushi is Avocado sushi?
